I’m extremely happy and proud. With my background of F & B industry, this recognition brought great meaning to me.

I always see myself as the sun that shine on and bring warmth to others. Their happiness equals to mine. Others’ happiness ignites me to do even better in life. My true passion has always been in food and beverages. I enjoy good food and would like to share it with the people around me. My mission in life is to make a mark in the Chinese cuisine industry.

At first, I never thought Personal Branding is important. After my encounter with Brand Yourself and School of Charisma, I realized Personal Branding is a powerful tool to distinguish ourselves and stand out among the crowd. In business for example, the consumers are smarter and more demanding nowadays. They are looking beyond the products, they want to see the human elements in the products. In a way, this helps us to keep improving ourselves to be seen and accepted in the market. Personal Branding has helped greatly in helping me to achieve that.

That would be the opening New Shanghai Legend at The Intermark, KL. It was one of the most costly and toughest projects under my business endeavour. Yet it was also the most rewarding project for me to date. This flagship store under the restaurant group that cater to Chinese fine dining receives favourable response from the patrons.

I plan to open two more outlets in PJ area. Besides, launching a coffee table book about New Shanghai is also in my plans for 2015.
