The best bits of the Royal Wedding 2018, in case you missed it!

Around the globe, everyone was hyped about the Royal Wedding 2018, thousands of people gathered to witness this important day for Prince Harry and Megan Markle. Steeped in tradition yet so thoroughly modern, the wedding was such a moving, incredible event. The dress, the flower bouquet, the tiara, the guests. There was so much to look at, listen to and gush about.  In case you missed it or you didn’t feel like spending one hour to watch the wedding ceremony. We got you covered, here are the best bits of it!

At Windsor Castle, Megan Markle`s dree stole everyone`s breath away! Designed by British designer Clare Waight Keller for Givenchy, and her tiara was the Queen Mary bandeau tiara. But the real star of the show might have been the cathedral length veil which measured around 16 feet.

Made from silk tulle, the veil featured hand embroidered flowers from each of the 53 counties in the Commonwealth. Meghan also had Wintersweet which grows in the grounds of Kensington Palace in front of Nottingham Cottage and the State flower of California added, too. Apparently, the creators of the veil spent hours sewing the flowers on, washing their hands “every 30 minutes to ensure the piece was immaculate,” according to People. For accessories, Meghan wore Cartier diamond earrings and a diamond bracelet.

One of our personal favorites in this wedding is the simplicity of Meghan`s makeup look. Her Makeup was done by a friend/celebrity makeup artist Daniel Martin and featured dark liner with lots of lashes and a neutral lip. Her makeup was so simple that the attention was on her radiant and fresh makeup look. Her wedding hairstylist was Serge Normant who chose a chignon with a center part for her hair-do.

Meghan Markle did not have a Maid of Honor, but she did have young bridesmaids and page boys that helped carry her veil down the aisle which made us all grin on how adorable they were. Followed by that were beautiful melodies to listen to, then the awaited first look Prince Harry had at his bride that literally made us break down in tears!

The couple then exchanged their vows, and it was time for wedding rings. Prince Harry`s wedding band is platinum and not made from the royal’s collection of Welsh gold, while Meghan Markle’s wedding band is a gift from the Queen. Both royal wedding bands were made by Cleave & Company, who also created Meghan’s engagement ring.

The guest list for this wedding is remarkable and each appearance deserves a CLAP on how modest and lovely their outfits were. The celebrity guest list included Oprah, Elton John, Serena Williams, David and Victoria Beckham, and George and Amal Clooney.

Just like fairytales, the newlyweds who’re officially The Duke and Duchess of Sussex seal the deal with a kiss and get on the carriage that carried them on a 25 minutes ride through the streets of Windsor to Windsor Castle where they attended a luncheon thrown by the Queen. In the carriage, they lovingly waved at the guests and their surroundings giving us flashbacks to the previous royal weddings.

Soon, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle made another appearance for the second reception at Frogmore House- thrown by Prince Charles. Meghan Markle was radiant in a sultry Stella McCartney silk crepe halter dress.

And that was a warp for the Royal wedding 2018 that we totally adored every bit of it. What is your favorite celebrity appearance out of all the guests “beside the beautiful bride Meghan”?
